What I think I know

Is what I see the truth, or a blurred out vision,
is what I hear founded, or some distorted version?
If what I thought I knew has been shaken and stirred,
when I think I know, I only know I could be mistaken.

New beginnings

We see weeds in a garden, we think destruction,
for our patch is our kingdom; automatic reaction.

Is this a white cross I see, or a weed that wouldn’t be but for its dark surroundings?
For each perceived weed there are crosses, leading to choices, and new beginnings.
